Interesting style of sales letter.
Plus, they repeat the name of the book a lot. Just to remind you where all this information is available!

Make Your Knowledge Sell!
A lady read one of Joe Vitali's articles about sales
letters at his website (at www.mrfire.com) and learned that a "P.S."
in a letter is a powerful way to reinforce a key message.
She took it a step further and told her friends to quit adding
signature files to the end of their email messages, and to
instead add a "P.S."
Examples:
P.S. I know how to "fake it" the European Way!
Decorative Finishes by Victoria / Sogno Studio
Atelier of Faux and Decorative Painting in the European Tradition
FinishesbyV@aol.com
P.S. Did you bathe today?
Was it enjoyable? It could have been...
http://www.sweetsoaps.com
P.S. I been "around the track"...
And now I'm doing it even faster....

Planning an Online Marketing Campaign
By Robert W. Bly
The primary concept is that online marketing works best when you e-mail to people who already know you.
Therefore, successful online marketers build their "house file" or "e-list" (lists of prospects and their e-mail addresses) using the process outlined below, and then sell to those people via e-mail marketing:
Build a Web site that positions you as an expert or guru in your field. This is the "base of operations" for your online marketing campaign.
This Web site should include a home page, an "About the Company" page, your bio, and a page with brief descriptions of your products and services (each product or service description can link to a longer document on the individual item).
You should also have an "Articles Page" where you post articles you have written on your area of specialty, and where visitors can read and download these articles for free.
Write a short special report or white paper on your area of expertise, and make this available to people who visit your site. They can download it for free, but in exchange, they have to register and give you their e-mail address (and any other information you want to capture).
Consider also offering a monthly online newsletter, or "e-zine." People who visit your site can subscribe free if they register and give you their e-mail address. You may want to give the visit"

How I Write a Direct Mail Package
How I Plan a Lead-Generation Campaign
by Robert W. Bly
1. I start by defining both a hard offer and a soft offer for the campaign.
2. The hard offer is for prospects who have an immediate need and an immediate interest in talking with the marketer about its products or services.
3. The soft offer is for prospects who might have a need for your product or service some day, but not today.
4. Next, identify the problem the prospect has that your product or service can help him solve.
5. Also identify an information gap in the prospect’s knowledge about the problem
6. Create a premium to be used as a bribe or “bait piece”
7. Find a list of potential buyers. Or find media (newspapers, magazines, TV programs, radio shows) that reach them.
8. Create promotions for the available media
9. Copywriting tip for lead-generation promotions
10. Prepare an inquiry fulfillment kit
11. Test the promotions in small quantities.
